Hi, My name is Lakshya. Thank you for visiting me here. “Cognitive Chaos” is my personal blog where I write about topics that interest me.

I’m a data scientist at Intel. I have a Ph.D. in computational nuclear physics from University of Kentucky. I did my postdoctoral research at University of Wisconsin-Madison specializing in the applications of deep learning in plasma fusion.

I love writing high performance code and am passionate about artificial intelligence and its applications to the physical sciences.

Outside of machine learning, I like to spend time with my family and friends. I also like to do a lot of hiking and photography (though I’m still learning the latter).
